Toddler Co-Lead teacher

Hattie Peterson

is originally from a small town on the Western Slope of Colorado, but moved to Fort Collins in 2015 to attend Colorado State University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Professions. She then went on to obtain her Master’s degree in Learning, Developmental, and Family Sciences with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from CU Denver.

Hattie has found true joy and purpose in working with toddlers, and feels so happy to be joining the Aspen classroom community. She is passionate about advocating for children’s rights, fostering authentic and strong partnerships with families, and creating intentional opportunities for children to explore and learn. Hattie lives with her husband and hopes to continue growing her roots here in Fort Collins for many years to come. She loves live music, frisbee golfing, spending time in the kitchen, being in nature, and tending to her many houseplants.
