Happy October!

Hello, families!

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. We are excited to start this blog and keep you informed of our daily happenings.

AM Snack: Primary classroom had organic blueberry muffins and almonds. Toddler class had organic mango with rice rollers.

PM Snack: Organic delicata squash and organic pasta

Toddler highlights- So far as the first day of potty training for many it is going quite well. Many potty parties will come for the next few weeks. Be sure to congratulate any of the toddlers you see on their toileting journey. They and we are all very proud of them. Good luck kiddos!

Primary highlights-Well, today marks the first day of the study of North America and Space. The children were greeted with a spaceship this morning that makes actual space sounds. The children have been creating and designing the inside of the space quarters.

In the outdoor classroom the primary children made up rules for the spaceship, one of Ike’s rules was “Leave no man behind”!

I wanted to give everyone a heads up too, that I will be out of town this Friday and next Monday and Tuesday. I will be in New Orleans for a wedding. I have never been to NOLA, so I am very excited to experience this culture. Any places you think I should visit let me know?!

Thank you, everyone! I hope you all enjoy the rest of you, afternoon.
